Went for the campus superstar live performance today.
Thanks for the tickets, mae... and thanks for being there for me to hit when benjamin lost. Haha..
Let me do a quick round up of the show...
1) benjamin is cute. i supported him since the start of the show. he has a sweet smile that makes me happy. he looks nerdy with his specs on but that is what i like about him. Watching him perform definitely make me forget my troubles, momentarily... And anyway, he has a soothing voice. I like him!
2) shawn is also very cute. but more like a xiao di di. I really admire his courage in joining this tough competition. The judges are never merciful but he won anyway. This shows that empathy still plays a big part of the game. The appeal of the performer is more important than the performance itself. But anyway, the result is predictable.
3) keely is very adorable. She is sweet and smart. I like her.
4) Zhen ning is not the typical sweet and pretty girl. But she is just different. She is confident, cool and entertaining to watch. Glad to watch her perform that night.
5) zi jie, a guy definitely worth mentioning. He is a joker, a clown, definitely some one u can turn to for fun. He totally caught my attention when the show is about to end. Keep playing with the frills just like a kid and amusing my dear mae sitting right beside me. I want a friend like him right now. Haha...
6) hui sian, my favourite girl in the competition. I only have one word to describe her. CUTE. I think my word bank book is running out of words. I keep using the word cute. but yah, she is cute. That's the only word i can think of.
7) marcus, the most gentleman of the lot, i think. Big but gentle.
8) overall, i enjoyed the show. I always enjoy music and dance. I think its even better than the project superstar. For one, i think students are more real(Darren doesn't seem very real to me at least). Somehow, i feel that people can be quite fake some times.
Another singing competition is over. Another star search competition is up. Can mediacorp be more creative?
Anyway, my season of desperate housewives and grey's is starting already. I can't wait to watch my Andrew protect her mom, susan doing crazy stuff for love, gabrielle tackling matters with wit and charm, bree fighting for her perfect life. For all i know, there's a new neighbor moving in. Let's await to watch the tv show with the most twists.
And yah, for grey's anatomy, i enjoy watching the operations and the doctors at work. The complex relationships in the show just add more colour to the mundane hospital. Will christina patch up with burke? Will derek give up on meredith(i hope he doesn't)? Who will george choose in the end, his best friend izzy or his fiancee?
Gonna start working on my piling work. School work is never ending.
Well, i must psycho myself.
School work is fun!
Still have presentation tomorrow, and shakuhachi test.

School has just started for me and i'm starting to feel all the stress...
At the start of the school, the stress of getting all my textbooks drove me crazy.
Luckily, i have a bunch of helpful classmates who guided me in what books to buy or else i will really cry.
Thanks to all my friends who photocopied books for me and spare me the pain of parting with my money.
My timetable is kinda driving me crazy too.
I have a super long Monday, and i'm still trying to get used to my long day.
Was dead beat yesterday, but the thought of a much relaxing week ahead brightens me up.
先苦后甜，一点也没错。
And my day ended with a good note.
I'm glad edwin pulled me in to the elective "shakuhachi enmsemble".
I'm happy to embrace music again after a long break from chinese orchestra.But japanese music is so so different.
They even have a special way to read notes and i'm surely gonna have a hard time recognising the cute cute jap characters.Anyway, back to shakuhachi, I think that its a truely remarkable instrument.
With just 5 holes, it can produce many different notes.Enjoyed the lesson thoroughly cos i managed to blow something off the instrument and i have had great company for the lesson.
Still thought that charlene was really amusing to do some research on the instrument before going for the lesson.Gonna practise the shakuhachi more often cos the jap master is going to test us. I'm still not very stable in blowing it.
And yah, projects and presentations are steadily streaming in.
yesterday, we had the whole class to critique on one another's presentation skills.
That was really stressful.I'm scared of facing criticisms but the class was pretty merciful to me:)
Then, my aa202 presentation is coming up very soon.
But don't know why, i'm sorta looking forward to it because i enjoy working with my group of girls. I'm sure we will do well.
I gonna admit i have not read the case but i promise i'll finish it up by today!

Chen nyap finally posted one photo...
I think it was national day when we had this impromptu 04S51 outing.
We had dinner at essentials brew at Holland V.
Later, we went to harry's for some drinks.
It was awesome to see some familiar faces again and hang out with them.
What i remember off the outing most is actually the brief singing stint teik zhen had.
I never knew teik zhen can sing so well.
I think its gonna take some time before we meet up again.

Since derrick insisted that i must give these donuts a try, i decided to join the crowd and queue up for these colorful donuts.I gonna admit they look like an art in itself. Each of them look so welcoming.
Donuts are so cute.
And i had my niece to cut them into pieces so that all my relatives can try a bite for fun.
And her brother insisted that i take a picture of him too...

These few days had been great.
On sunday, I met up with elaine and chen nyap after a long long time.
And chen nyap has really become much round. He used to be so so skinny. Look what Manchester has done to him...
elaine and chen nyapElaine got me a bracelet all the way from Cambodia.
Chen nyap kept to his promise and bought the Arctic Monkeys "Favourite worst nightmare" and the McFly albums for me.
Arctic monkeys all the way from UK... U can't even get it here in s'poreFinally, after a long long 3 months break, my school term has started once again.
But i missed my first 2 seminars for the nbs welcome day.
Played the usual games such as the name tag mixer and around the world in 80 secs. However, nothing beats the talking and bonding session.

At the end of the day, all of us are dead beat. But we are still game for our last and final group photo-taking...
Thanks to my group 16 and ching ting, i had a memorable monday.And finally, today i went to smss for a visit.
Suddenly, i realized i have actually graduated from my school for 4 years.
Smss hasn't change much. The school bell is still as melodious, the canteen is still as clean, the environment is still as green, the library is still as cosy and the teachers are still as welcoming.
However, wan ting u better read this, our kang kong garden outside the classroom is gone, gone, gone.

Then later Cybill joined us and we decided to enter the holy area that we girls never dared to step in when we were in school... the staff room.Lydia then left us early and left we, the 3 explorers to continue with the adventure. And we found this...

And surprise surprise, we saw hannah when we were about to leave. I met her once in the hereens when i was shopping with elaine. And this time round, i was smart enough to ask for her handphone no. so that i can contact her for lunch. Hannah is still as beautiful and classy as ever and mrs rajendran actually asked about her. Haha...
And just another small surprise for my own remembrance. I saw Joshua with his ah ma when i was on my way home. He was only 2 when my mother babysat him and now he has grown into such fine and smart boy. It was definitely heart-warming to see him again. I guess he should be 8 years old by now.
Hia... I'm gonna say this again. Time really flies....

Connie TolbatI really admire her courage to stand in front of the stage and sing.
And what she presented is what many adults are unable to exude... and it is her pure innocence.
All she wants to do is to sing and entertain.
"I'm gonna remember all the words to my song tonight and i know its going to be hard. But i have to go out there and try my best because that means i can sing again. I love singing."
She is so sweet!
