and they have always been my faves since young :)

why am i so passionate about squirrels... cos they are so cute and i have so much encounters with them here... or rather in london as i recall my trip in london...
just look at this
we were at some park in london then...
and look at these... hh had close encounters with the squirrels... i'm really scared of squirrels biting me after i watched "failure to launch" the movie...
well, after u watched it u'll understand...

anyway, i had encounters with this cute animal too...
when i was at valentines's park, i saw this really cute squirrel and i tried to tempt it to follow me.. and it really did!!!
but after a while it realise i have no food for it after all, and so gave me up...
so realistic right... smart smart squirrels...
and it turns out squirrels are really smart animals... impressive...
it's been proven... google it if u don't believe!

so it's no wonder that chip munks do sing...
they are smart! intelligent! genius!

hey dear friends!!!

it´s bright and early in madrid right now...
and i´m waiting for my dear pals before i go for my good(hopefully) breakfast...

i can´t say i had a bad culture shock here... cos i´ve utterly prepàred myself for the worst...
and nothing much worse had happened to me as yet so i´m still happy...

i´m glad to be given a chance for me to explore the world...
like how my dear good friend who went to gip told me,
¨there´s only once in your lifetime probably to leave ur homeland for so long to explore the world so y not do it when u can most afford to do it?¨
and ya, he´s so so right...
i´m glad :)

i can´t wait for my breakfast...
hope there´s bacon, french toast, cornflakes, hot chocolate, hot mocha...
what more can i ask for?

ps... i miss chee kueh so much... i want to eat pickled radish and pickled radish egg...
send them to me send them to me please!!!!

on a side note, i have yet to upload photos cos it takes mighty time!!!
i´ll be sure to flood them once i get to maastricht...

it's been some time since i last updated already... hehe...
hard to get wireless around here as i'm still not settled in my university yet...

anyway, i'm in hot hot madrid right now!
it's a fine place to shop and sight-see...

and right now in the hostel, we met some fellow singaporeans from smu!
so qiao... and feel so much at home...

omg... it feels bad to be home-sick...
but it feels good to know so much more of one part of the world that i've never been to and always dreamt to be in...
so this is europe... that's what i'll say to myself many times...
so this is the little earth we all stay in....
so many things to see, explore and wander....

i miss singapore anyway...
laksa, the rain, my family, my friends, my bed, lor mee, ice kachang....
u name it, and i miss it all...
