after talking to derrick about dying for people you love...
i'm not really into doing it...

i suddenly recall an episode of grey's anatomy that i watched...
kidney transplant marathon...
where one donor links to another then to another...
it's kinda complicated and i'm not into the complex scientific details...
but basically, the link started with a man's adulterous girl and his wife is a link in the whole kidney transplant chain...

initially, both women are doing the transplant to save the useless guy... until the adulterous girl expose her secret identity... a mistress of the guy...
this enraged the wife and she opted out of the kidney transplant program... initially...
this will cause the whole chain to break and it will not be happily ever after...

luckily, in the end, the wife continued with the program as much as she didn't want to benefit her useless husband...
in the end, the useless husband did not go back to the adulterous girl who did the whole transplant for him... which made her really really devastated...

i think i've spun a yarn...
but i just feel that as much as it is romantic and lovely to die for your loved one...
like romeo and juliet or liang shan po or whatever...
i feel that the greater good of the society is more meaningful...
it's really important to think of things in different angles...

generosity...
i hold by this philosophy and am still trying to perfect this trait...

edited/ i suddenly feel i talk too big... too highly of myself alr...
sorry!
